Role & Responsibilities
- Define the collection structure and assess selling trends to identify assortment opportunities and style openings for discussion with the Design team.
- Monitor competitor activity and consolidate regional business inputs to inform collection strategy and GRID planning.
- Contribute to master order activities and define key assortments for Retail to ensure a balanced global product mix.
- Coordinate ongoing collection developments with the Product Development Office to guarantee alignment on timing and quality.
- Manage preparation and execution of selling campaigns, including collection book production, launch plans, presentations and product availability tracking.
- Develop and implement coherent pricing and margin strategies within each collection.
- Oversee daily merchandising operations such as code creation, product shoots and special order follow-ups.
- Create and maintain a reliable, up-to-date repository of product information for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams on customer-facing presentation (visual merchandising guidelines, special packaging development).
- Partner with Training to produce product training materials for retail teams.
- Define markdown strategy and product life-cycle rules.
- Own sample management for the merchandising department.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years' experience as a merchandiser within the fashion or luxury goods sector.
- Educational background in business management, merchandising, fashion business or a related discipline preferred.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong product sensitivity with a demonstrable passion for handbags and leather goods.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Commercial mindset with ambition to exceed corporate objectives.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on merchandising experience within the fashion or luxury leather goods industry, with demonstrated responsibility for assortment planning and collection execution.
Education
Degree in business management, merchandising, fashion business or related field preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Scandicci, Tuscany, Italy, with easy access to Florence.
