Gucci seeks a Global Client Development Coordinator in Milan to lead clienteling strategy, partner with Retail and Training, and drive one-to-one client engagement.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy the one-to-one clienteling strategy for stores, setting annual and quarterly targets across clienteling levers.
  • Develop simple, scalable frameworks, guidelines and operational tools to drive clienteling performance and ensure effective cascade to store teams.
  • Partner with Retail Training to identify skill gaps, define training calendars and briefs, monitor training effectiveness and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Retail Excellence to prioritise tool improvements, support roll-out plans and monitor the commercial impact of updates.
  • Establish governance and reporting with regional teams to enable proactive, action-driven discussions and track progress against targets.
  • Analyse business insights to propose action plans and projects that accelerate clienteling goal achievement.
  • Identify and share regional best practices; gather field feedback via regular store visits and translate insights into operational initiatives.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders (Retail Excellence, Retail Training, Retail, Client Development, Kering) to leverage benchmarks and group-wide best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years' experience in client development, clienteling or a similar role within luxury retail or retail environments.
  • Demonstrable understanding of luxury clienteling principles and client portfolio management.
  • Proven experience translating strategic objectives into clear, operational plans and measurable actions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience across retail hierarchies.

Experience

At least 5 years in a comparable client development, clienteling or retail strategy role, ideally within a luxury fashion house or premium retail environment, with experience working across store networks and regional/global stakeholders.
