Gucci is seeking a Footwear Preparation Operator for Il Castello, its footwear-upper manufacturing company within Gucci’s industrial platform in Castiglion Fiorentino. The role prepares footwear components through skiving, gluing and bench work, and checks that each operation meets the required quality standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Skive leather and components according to model specifications.
- Glue components in accordance with technical and quality instructions.
- Prepare components at the workbench for subsequent processing stages, including edging, assembly and mounting.
- Check the quality conformity of components before and after processing.
- Carry out technical preparation of footwear components, ensuring work is performed in line with required quality standards.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of skiving and gluing processes.
- Knowledge of leather and materials used in quality footwear production.
- Manual dexterity and precision when working with components.
- Attention to detail, accuracy and quality sensitivity.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
