Gucci seeks a Financial Controlling Specialist in Scandicci, Italy. Lead regional financial control, reporting, and budgeting for Southern Europe retail operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end closing activities and prepare reporting packages for the Divisional Finance Department
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including data submission, variance analysis, and commentary
  • Monitor and control CapEx investments across retail entities
  • Prepare monthly P&L reporting for retail entities and perform variance analysis for Regional Finance
  • Support balance sheet reviews and related variance analysis
  • Deliver monthly reporting to retail managers and operational functions (Facilities, Security, HR, Communications) to ensure cost control
  • Assist during tax audits and contribute to statutory financial statements preparation
  • Review accounting data to identify and resolve inaccuracies or discrepancies
  • Prepare periodic turnover certificates and monthly data submissions for national statistics authorities
  • Handle ad hoc financial queries and perform additional analyses as required

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling within a multinational company or consulting firm
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven team-working capabilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel and BI tools for performance and KPI monitoring

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling within a multinational company or consulting firm. Retail industry experience is preferred. Strong understanding of month-end closing procedures, budgeting cycles, and financial control frameworks is essential.

Education

Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance.

The successful candidate will be located in Scandicci, Tuscany, Italy, with easy access to Florence.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 35,000 per annum.

Benefits

Annual Target Bonus as per company-level collective agreement, up to 20% of Gross Annual Salary; NCBA (National Collective Bargaining Agreement) D111 PELLI E SUCCEDANEI classification.
