Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee financial management, planning, and budgeting, ensuring effective disbursement and expenditure monitoring.
- Strengthen internal controls and produce regular financial reports and analysis for management.
- Participate in ad hoc projects, including evaluating new business opportunities.
- Prepare, present, and explain all financial information, partnering with key stakeholders across the business.
- Analyze financial trends and key performance indicators, including revenues, operating expenses, and cash flow.
- Prepare annual budgets and budget revisions, as well as reporting packages and executive presentations.
- Collaborate with Retail, Store Planning, and Legal Departments on new commercial projects, providing financial simulations and insights.
- Review contracts with business partners and oversee negotiations and contract definitions.
- Support decision-making for staffing in stores and analyze personnel cost variances.
- Oversee inventory control, including price changes, stock takes, and cycle counts.
- Coordinate materials and feedback for internal and external audits.
- Develop and mentor the finance and warehouse team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Finance Senior Manager or Controller, preferably in a multinational retail company.
- Strong financial analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with intermediate Excel skills required.
- Proficiency in Hyperion is a plus.
