Role & Responsibilities
- Review and validate month-end accruals and reclassifications for operating expenses to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
- Partner with accounting and Record-to-Report teams to validate entries and maintain alignment with financial guidelines and close timelines
- Update monthly financial reporting packages for budget holders, including comprehensive month-end variance analysis comparing actuals against budget and forecast figures
- Provide strategic guidance to budget owners on spend management and collaborate closely to monitor and control costs across the region
- Review and approve invoices within assigned categories, ensuring correct coding and proper allocation to cost centers
- Support internal and external audit requests, including preparation of supporting data and statistical sampling documentation
- Develop and maintain reliable projection models for retail operating expenses and related balance sheet accounts
- Monitor year-to-date performance and spending trends against financial targets and forecasts
- Function as a key finance business partner to the retail network and cross-functional teams
- Maintain and enhance rolling forecast models at cost center, account, and expense line levels
- Participate actively in budgeting and forecasting cycles for store-related expenses and operational needs
- Deliver analytical support to cost center owners to facilitate informed, data-driven decision-making
- Analyze financial data and provide timely, actionable recommendations to management and stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal controls, processes, and financial governance frameworks
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in financial analysis, controlling, cost management, or related finance discipline
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Flexibility to support peak periods including month-end and forecast cycles
