Gucci seeks a Director, Visual Merchandising — South in Miami, FL to lead regional VM across FL, TX & CO.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the regional Visual Merchandising team to deliver brand‑right, high‑impact executions across boutiques and shop‑in‑shops in Florida, Texas and Colorado.
- Act as strategic business partner to regional leadership, Retail Area Directors and corporate VM to align global creative direction with local commercial objectives.
- Oversee execution of all windows, in‑store displays and event merchandising to ensure creative excellence, consistency and commercial relevance.
- Manage regional travel and resourcing, optimizing schedules and costs while adhering to corporate financial guidelines and ROI expectations for visual investments.
- Ensure multi‑store consistency and agility by adapting global directives to local market dynamics, client behaviour and diverse store footprints.
- Provide regional insights to corporate and global teams, sharing best practices and field realities to inform broader VM strategy.
- Design and deliver ongoing training and development to upskill the VM team and elevate operational efficiency and creative standards.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Merchandising, Store Planning & Facilities, Client Events and Visual teams on product launches, campaign activations and commercial priorities.
- Maintain competitive and trend awareness to identify opportunities for enhancement and differentiation in store experiences.
Qualifications
- 8–10+ years' progressive experience in visual merchandising, preferably within luxury retail or fashion.
- Proven multi‑store management experience across diverse markets and retail formats.
- Demonstrated leadership in building and developing high‑performing teams and leading through influence.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and assessing ROI on visual investments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for engagement with global stakeholders and regional teams.
- Highly organized with the ability to balance creative execution and commercial priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively and work non‑traditional hours as required.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Experience
A minimum of 8–10 years in visual merchandising with demonstrable experience leading visual strategy and operations across multiple retail locations, preferably within a luxury fashion environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in visual merchandising, fashion, design, retail management or a related discipline preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 135,000 to USD 150,000 per annum.
