Gucci Cost Controlling Specialist (Maternity Cover) — Milan. Temporary role managing HQ Marcom budgets, reporting and supplier contracts; strong Excel skills required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Verify invoices versus quotations or contracts, register transactions and liaise with Accounting to ensure timely payment.
- Monitor actuals and perform variance analysis against budget and forecast; identify and report material deviations and drivers.
- Support preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in alignment with regional offices, senior management and cross‑functional partners.
- Prepare, structure and present financial reports, management packs and executive summaries using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Negotiate with suppliers, manage procurement activities and support contract finalisation (with legal support for drafting).
- Deliver ad‑hoc analyses and business insights based on key indicators to support strategic decisions across teams.
- Act as a proactive financial partner to internal stakeholders, building relationships and resolving issues through clear communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or Accounting, or a secondary‑school diploma specialised in Accounting.
- Previous experience in accounting, administration or finance is desirable and will be considered a plus.
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable structuring data models and presenting insights.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial monitoring.
- Proactive, goals‑oriented attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and manage stakeholder expectations; negotiation skills for supplier interactions.
- Proficiency in English.

Previous experience in accounting, administration or a financial control environment is preferred; early‑career candidates with exposure to budgeting, reporting, AP or procurement will be considered.
Education
