Gucci Client Development Manager in Seoul: Lead clienteling strategy and store coaching across the retail network. Senior role requiring 10+ years luxury retail experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly store visits to review and guide clienteling execution, including client discovery through LUCE tools (Favorites, LUCE Notes, reassignment, Push Tasks), outreach quality, appointments, and development tool usage
  • Build Store Manager ownership of clienteling KPIs and drive consistent, high-quality execution across the retail network
  • Deliver Clienteling Foundation Training, Retail Managerial Essentials Training, and Client Discovery & Development Workshops to store teams
  • Develop store guidelines for collection and product launches, including outreach timelines, scripts, targeting strategies, appointments, and monthly task campaign follow-up
  • Set monthly clienteling KPI targets by store, conduct weekly performance reviews (outreach, appointments, prospects), and develop actionable store-level improvement plans
  • Partner with Retail and worldwide teams to align priorities, drive action plan execution, and monitor results
  • Lead monthly Top Client Development Reviews with Client Relations, monitor retention, and identify upgrade opportunities
  • Provide clienteling insights and strategic input for monthly business reviews, ensuring alignment with global client engagement priorities
  • Lead clienteling planning for product launches, activations, and new store projects
  • Guide and develop team members through clear direction, regular coaching, and continuous feedback to ensure strong ownership and execution quality

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury retail, client development, clienteling, CRM, or related commercial functions
  • Prior store experience in luxury retail with solid understanding of store operations, client development, and the Client Advisor / Store Manager working environment
  • Proven track record in driving clienteling performance through KPI management, store coaching, action planning, and follow-up
  • Strong understanding of client development fundamentals: outreach, appointments, prospect development, retention, and top client management
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen with ability to translate data and performance trends into clear, actionable insights for stores
  • Demonstrated people management experience with maturity and leadership skills to guide, develop, and support team members
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in Korean and English
