Gucci Client Advisor (4-month contract) at Holt Renfrew, Vancouver — deliver exceptional luxury client service and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the Gucci brand ambassador, delivering best-in-class, personalized service to cultivate long-term client relationships both in-store and remotely.
- Prospect, recruit and develop a client base; convert opportunities through expert needs discovery, product storytelling and tailored recommendations.
- Drive individual and store sales targets through elevated selling techniques, cross‑selling and upselling, and promotion of virtual appointments and distance sales.
- Maintain accurate POS transactions and client records; leverage in-store technology to ensure seamless client journeys.
- Contribute to operational standards including stock maintenance, inventories, visual merchandising conformity and loss-prevention procedures.
- Represent Gucci’s aesthetic and service rituals, staying current on product knowledge, fashion trends and competitor activity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of luxury fashion or premium retail sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain high-value client relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- High level of professionalism, ethics and discretion when handling client information and transactions.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Right to work in Canada (candidates must hold appropriate work authorization).
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of direct experience in luxury fashion retail or comparable premium customer-facing roles, with demonstrable sales performance and client development history.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in fashion, retail management, marketing or a related discipline is an asset.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is CAD 19 per hour.
