As a Client Advisor for Gucci, this role centers on delivering exceptional service and deepening client connections to the brand while achieving sales objectives. The position encompasses comprehensive client relationship management, sophisticated product knowledge, and consultative selling expertise across both in-store and remote channels, underpinned by a commitment to personalized, luxury-level service and operational excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Proactively engage clients from initial contact through purchase, creating personalized experiences that foster lasting relationships and enhance brand loyalty
- Drive individual and collective sales results through effective selling techniques, cross-selling, and upselling while maintaining a client-centric approach
- Build and develop client base by recruiting new clientele and nurturing existing relationships with strategic follow-up and tailored service
- Leverage in-store technology and client data systems to understand preferences and customize service delivery for each client
- Utilize storytelling, expert product knowledge, and styling expertise to guide clients toward informed purchasing decisions aligned with their needs and aspirations
- Maintain comprehensive product and brand knowledge through proactive training participation and awareness of fashion trends, competitor activity, and client segmentation
- Uphold Gucci's visual merchandising standards and operational excellence through stock maintenance, accurate POS transactions, and adherence to grooming and presentation policies
- Manage virtual appointments and remote selling opportunities to maximize revenue across all channels while maintaining One-Gucci-Client service standards
- Provide generosity of service by discovering client needs and creating meaningful connections that exceed expectations and drive repeat business
- Contribute to store operations including inventory management, product display, loss prevention, and general administrative functionality
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of luxury fashion sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding individual and store sales results
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and inspire trust among colleagues
- Deep knowledge of and genuine passion for fashion, luxury, and lifestyle trends
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity with an excellent commercial awareness and client-centric attitude
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with strong flexibility to adapt to diverse client profiles and complex situations
- Proficiency with POS systems and retail technology platforms
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2+ years of luxury fashion sales experience or equivalent customer service experience in an upscale retail environment. A proven track record of driving sales results, building lasting client relationships, and excelling in a fast-moving, dynamic retail setting is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Further fashion, retail management, or business education is advantageous but not required.
