Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a Gucci brand ambassador by delivering best-in-class, personalized client service both in-store and remotely to deepen client relationships and drive sales.
  • Proactively engage, recruit and develop a client base, using storytelling, styling advice and tailored product recommendations to generate repeat business and loyalty.
  • Promote and manage virtual appointments and distance sales to expand selling opportunities beyond the boutique.
  • Capture and maintain accurate client information and preferences throughout the client journey to enable tailored follow-up and service.
  • Execute effective luxury selling techniques — cross-sell, upsell and product rituals — while guiding clients to the right purchase decisions.
  • Ensure operational excellence through accurate POS transaction processing, stock maintenance, inventory participation and adherence to loss-prevention policies.
  • Maintain Gucci visual standards on the sales floor and contribute to store merchandising, grooming and presentation.
  • Attend product and selling trainings to stay current on collections, trends, competitor activity and client segmentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster open communication and propose solutions that enhance the client experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of luxury fashion or high-end retail sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrable ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships and deliver exceptional hospitality.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity and ethical conduct with the capacity to inspire trust among colleagues and clients.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Deep knowledge of and passion for fashion and luxury; strong commercial awareness and client-focused mindset.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse and complex client situations.

Experience

At least 2 years of direct experience in luxury fashion sales or an equivalent high-end retail environment, with a demonstrable track record of driving individual and store results.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in fashion, merchandising or retail is a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Roseville, California, USA, with easy access to Sacramento.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16.90 to USD 18 per hour.
