Gucci Client Advisor role in Oak Brook, Chicago—luxury retail sales position driving client relationships and achieving sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as Gucci brand ambassador and drive sales objectives by deepening client connections and delivering best-in-class, elevated service
- Proactively engage with and establish strong relationships with clients, ensuring they feel valued from the first point of contact through best-in-class in-store and remote service
- Deliver personalized, client-centric experiences that foster lasting relationships and drive repeat business and brand loyalty
- Build rapport by discovering client needs and aspirations, creating connections and demonstrating generosity to exceed expectations
- Develop client base by recruiting new clients and cultivating existing relationships
- Leverage in-store technology to ensure smooth, pleasant, and relevant client experiences
- Collect meaningful client information throughout the journey to customize service and understand preferences
- Create value by providing clients with useful insights on local lifestyle trends including theater, arts, and travel
- Drive individual and collective sales results by maximizing selling opportunities both in-store and remotely
- Provide exceptional client experience through hospitality, elevated selling skills, luxury gestures, and product rituals
- Use effective selling techniques in a natural, warm, and elevated manner to drive sales and cultivate a client-centric attitude
- Select appropriate products matched to client needs and effectively employ cross-selling and upselling techniques
- Promote virtual appointments and distance sales by proactively recruiting clients to create selling opportunities
- Maintain a 'One-Gucci-Client' perspective regardless of purchase location, handling exchanges, returns, repairs, and transactions critical to positive client experience
- Guide and inspire clients to make informed decisions and purchase the right product
- Foster open and constructive communication with team members, remaining collaborative and proposing effective solutions
- Engage with clients using storytelling, expert product knowledge, and honest styling advice to assist in informed purchasing decisions
- Proactively attend trainings to gain insights on product knowledge and selling techniques
- Stay current with fashion trends, competitor offerings, and client segmentation to deliver optimal solutions
- Combine styling knowledge with the ability to offer products that best serve the client
- Embody Gucci's philosophy, values, and lifestyle with an enthusiastic attitude
- Actively participate in all store operations including stock maintenance and inventories
- Adhere to all policies and procedures with focus on loss prevention and operational excellence
- Accurately process POS transactions and ensure accurate capture of client information
- Maintain visual display of all products in accordance with Gucci visual standards
- Follow company grooming standards and Gucci policies at all times
- Ensure optimal levels of products on the sales floor in line with corporate policies and procedures
- Manage general store administration and functionality
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of luxury fashion sales experience with excellent track record
- Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store results
- Proven ability to build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity
- Ability to inspire trust and collaboration amongst colleagues
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Deep knowledge and passion for fashion and luxury
- Excellent commercial awareness and client attitude
- High flexibility and ability to adapt to different clients and complex situations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-moving and dynamic environment

Experience
2+ years of luxury fashion sales experience, preferably in a similar client-facing or retail role with proven track record of exceeding sales objectives and building lasting client relationships
