Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Gucci brand ambassador, achieving sales objectives by deepening client connections and delivering elevated, best-in-class service with strong relationship-building focus.
  • Proactively engage with clients in both in-store and remote settings, establishing genuine rapport by discovering needs and aspirations while demonstrating generosity and desire to exceed expectations.
  • Develop and expand the client base by recruiting new clients and cultivating existing relationships through personalized, client-centric experiences that drive repeat business and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Drive individual and collective sales results by maximizing selling opportunities both in-store and remotely, utilizing effective selling techniques in a natural, warm, and elevated manner.
  • Select products matched to client needs and effectively employ cross-selling and upselling techniques while offering honest styling advice informed by expert product knowledge and storytelling.
  • Maintain a 'One-Gucci-Client' perspective regardless of purchase location, ensuring positive experiences across exchanges, returns, repairs, and other critical transactions.
  • Leverage in-store technology and collect meaningful client information throughout the customer journey to understand preferences and customize service delivery accordingly.
  • Provide insights on local lifestyle trends (theater, arts, travel) to create added value for the client experience.
  • Engage clients using deep product knowledge and expert styling advice to assist in informed purchasing decisions while embodying Gucci's philosophy, values, and lifestyle.
  • Proactively attend training sessions to gain insights on product knowledge and selling techniques; remain current on fashion trends, competitors, and client segmentation.
  • Actively participate in store operations including stock maintenance, inventories, and visual merchandising; maintain Gucci visual standards and follow company grooming standards at all times.
  • Accurately process point-of-sale transactions while ensuring precise capture of client information; adhere to all policies and procedures with focus on loss prevention and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of luxury fashion sales experience with an excellent track record, preferably in a similar role or customer service setting.
  • Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store sales results while building lasting relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity with ability to inspire trust and collaboration among team members.
  • Deep knowledge about and genuine passion for fashion and luxury.
  • Excellent commercial awareness with a strong client-centric attitude.
  • High flexibility and ability to adapt to different clients and complex situations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.

Experience

Minimum 2+ years of luxury fashion sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales objectives and delivering exceptional client service in a retail environment. Experience in a similar client-facing or customer service role within the luxury sector is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education in fashion, business, or hospitality is advantageous but not required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19 to USD 20 per hour.
