Gucci Client Advisor position in Manhasset, NY. Luxury retail sales role driving customer relationships, sales excellence, and brand representation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Proactively engage and establish strong relationships with clients, ensuring they feel valued and at ease from initial contact through post-purchase by delivering best-in-class service both in-store and remotely
- Deliver personalized, client-centric experiences that foster lasting relationships to drive repeat business and enhance brand loyalty
- Build rapport with clients by discovering their needs and aspirations, creating meaningful connections, and demonstrating generosity in exceeding expectations
- Develop the client base by recruiting new clients and cultivating existing relationships through consistent engagement
- Leverage in-store technology to ensure each client experience is smooth, pleasant, and relevant to their preferences
- Collect and utilize meaningful client information throughout the customer journey to customize service and anticipate future needs
- Create value-added experiences by providing insights on local lifestyle trends including theater, arts, and travel
- Drive individual and collective sales results by maximizing selling opportunities both in-store and remotely through effective techniques
- Provide exceptional client experiences through skilled hospitality, luxury service gestures, and comprehensive product rituals
- Select products matched to client needs and effectively execute cross-selling and upselling techniques
- Proactively promote virtual appointments and distance sales to expand market reach and create additional selling opportunities
- Maintain a 'One-Gucci-Client' perspective regardless of purchase location, ensuring consistent service for exchanges, returns, repairs, and related transactions
- Guide clients to make informed purchasing decisions and select products best suited to their style and needs
- Foster open and collaborative communication with team members while proposing effective solutions to operational challenges
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge by engaging clients through storytelling, expert styling advice, and honest recommendations
- Actively attend product training sessions to continuously develop knowledge of collections and selling techniques
- Maintain awareness of fashion trends, competitor activities, and client segmentation to deliver strategic recommendations
- Combine styling expertise with the ability to offer curated product selections that best serve each client
- Embody Gucci's philosophy, values, and lifestyle with an enthusiastic and authentic attitude
- Actively participate in store operations including stock maintenance, inventory management, and visual merchandising

- Manage general store administration and support overall store functionality
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of luxury fashion sales experience with demonstrated track record of success
- Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store sales results
- Proven ability to build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity with ability to inspire trust and collaboration
- Deep knowledge of and genuine passion for fashion and luxury sectors
- Excellent commercial awareness and client-centric mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work a full retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to adapt to different clients and navigate complex situations with ease
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic, and high-pressure retail environment
Skills
Experience
2+ years of luxury fashion sales experience in a similar client-facing or customer service role, preferably in a luxury retail environment with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and building customer loyalty.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in fashion, business, or related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21 to USD 23 per hour.
