The Client Advisor represents Gucci, builds lasting client relationships and drives sales through personalized service, product expertise and cross-channel selling. The role also supports store operations, inventory, POS transactions and visual standards. The disclosed base rate is $16.90 per hour; eligible employees may participate in benefits and an incentive program.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality service in-store and remotely, making clients feel valued and at ease.
  • Provide personalized, client-centric experiences that encourage repeat business and strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Discover clients’ needs and aspirations, build rapport, and exceed their expectations.
  • Recruit new clients and develop existing client relationships.
  • Use in-store technology to deliver a smooth, relevant client experience.
  • Collect client information and preferences throughout the client journey to tailor service.
  • Enrich the client experience with useful insights on local lifestyle trends, including theatre, arts and travel.
  • Drive individual and collective sales results and maximize selling opportunities in-store and remotely.
  • Deliver exceptional, hospitality-led client experiences through selling skills, luxury gestures and product rituals.
  • Use effective, natural and warm selling techniques to drive sales and maintain a client-centric approach.
  • Select products suited to client needs and use cross-selling and upselling techniques.
  • Promote virtual appointments and distance sales, recruiting clients to create selling opportunities.
  • Maintain a One-Gucci-Client perspective across purchases, exchanges, returns, repairs and other transactions, regardless of purchase location.
  • Guide and inspire clients to make informed decisions and select the right product.
  • Communicate openly and constructively with team members, collaborate and propose effective solutions.
  • Use Gucci and product knowledge, storytelling and honest styling advice to support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Attend training to develop product knowledge and selling techniques.
  • Stay up to date on fashion trends, competitors, products, campaigns, services and client segmentation to develop suitable solutions.
  • Combine styling knowledge with product recommendations that serve the client.
  • Embody Gucci’s philosophy, values and lifestyle with an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Participate in store operations, including stock maintenance and inventory.
  • Follow policies and procedures, with a focus on loss prevention and operational excellence.
  • Process POS transactions accurately and capture client information accurately.
  • Maintain product displays in accordance with Gucci visual standards.
  • Follow company grooming requirements and Gucci standards and policies.
  • Maintain optimal product levels on the sales floor in line with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Manage general store administration and functionality.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of luxury fashion sales experience, with an excellent track record, preferably in a similar role or customer service setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and exceed individual and store results and build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • High ethical standards, professionalism and integrity, with the ability to inspire trust and collaboration among colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • In-depth knowledge of fashion and luxury.
  • Strong commercial awareness and client orientation.
  • High flexibility and ability to adapt to different clients and complex situations.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.

Compensation
