Role & Responsibilities
- Proactively engage and establish strong relationships with clients from first contact, delivering best-in-class service in-store and remotely while making clients feel valued and at ease
- Deliver personalized, client-centric experiences to foster lasting relationships, drive repeat business, and enhance brand loyalty
- Build rapport by discovering client needs and aspirations, creating meaningful connections while demonstrating generosity and exceeding expectations
- Develop the client base by recruiting new clients and cultivating existing ones through continuous engagement and relationship management
- Leverage in-store technology to ensure every client experience is smooth, pleasant, and personalized
- Collect meaningful client information throughout the journey to understand preferences and customize service delivery
- Create added value for clients by providing insights on local lifestyle trends including theater, arts, travel, and cultural events
- Drive individual and collective sales results by maximizing selling opportunities both in-store and remotely
- Provide exceptional client experience focused on hospitality, elevation, luxury gestures, and product rituals
- Use effective selling techniques in a natural, warm, and elevated manner to drive sales while maintaining a client-centric attitude
- Select products matched to client needs and effectively employ cross-selling and upselling techniques
- Proactively promote virtual appointments and distance sales by recruiting clients to create additional selling opportunities
- Maintain a 'One-Gucci-Client' perspective regardless of purchase location, handling exchanges, returns, repairs, and transactions with care
- Guide and inspire clients to make optimal purchasing decisions aligned with their individual needs
- Foster open and constructive communication with team members, remaining collaborative and proposing effective solutions
- Engage clients using storytelling, expert product knowledge, and honest styling advice to assist in informed purchasing decisions
- Proactively attend trainings to gain insights on product knowledge and selling techniques
- Stay current on fashion trends, competitors (products, campaigns, services), and client segmentation to deliver best solutions
- Combine styling knowledge with the ability to offer products that best serve the client
- Embody Gucci's philosophy, values, and lifestyle with enthusiastic engagement
- Actively participate in store operations including stock maintenance and inventory management
- Adhere to all policies and procedures with focus on loss prevention and operational excellence
- Accurately process all POS transactions and ensure precise capture of client information
- Contribute to upholding visual product display according to Gucci visual standards
- Follow company grooming standards at all times in accordance with Gucci policies
- Ensure optimal product levels on sales floor in line with corporate policies and procedures
- Manage general store administration and functionality
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of luxury fashion sales experience with an excellent track record
- Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store results
- Demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and collaboration
- Deep knowledge of and passion for fashion and luxury
- Excellent commercial awareness and client-centric attitude
- High flexibility and ability to adapt to different clients and complex situations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving and dynamic retail environment
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2+ years of luxury fashion sales experience in a similar customer-facing or sales role, with a proven track record of driving sales results and building strong client relationships.
Education
No specific formal education requirement stated; however, a foundation in fashion, retail, or hospitality is advantageous.
