Gucci is hiring a Client Advisor in Glendale, CA to deliver luxury client service and drive sales at the Glendale store.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the Gucci brand ambassador by delivering best-in-class, personalised client service both in-store and remotely to build long-term client relationships.
  • Proactively engage, recruit and develop a client base; identify client needs and use storytelling and expert product knowledge to recommend appropriate products and styling.
  • Drive individual and store sales results through effective selling techniques, cross-sell and upsell, and by promoting virtual appointments and distance sales.
  • Leverage in-store technology to capture meaningful client information, ensure smooth client interactions, and maintain accurate POS transactions and client records.
  • Maintain a One‑Gucci client perspective across returns, exchanges and repairs to ensure consistent client experience.
  • Support store operations including stock maintenance and inventories, uphold loss-prevention policies, and manage general store administration.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising in line with Gucci visual standards and maintain grooming standards consistent with company policy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of luxury fashion sales experience with a demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain client relationships and to drive individual and collective results.
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism and integrity with the ability to inspire trust and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Availability and flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Deep knowledge of and passion for fashion and the luxury sector, with strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills and the capacity to perform in a fast-moving, dynamic retail environment.

Experience

At least 2 years of direct sales experience in luxury fashion or comparable high-end retail, with a proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals and developing client relationships.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in fashion, retail or a related discipline is a plus.
