The Client Advisor represents Gucci, builds lasting client relationships and delivers personalized, elevated service while driving individual and store sales. The role combines clienteling and product styling with operational responsibilities, including inventory, POS transactions, visual standards and loss prevention. The hourly base salary range is $16.90–$18.00, with medical, dental and vision coverage, PTO, 401(k) and a performance-based incentive program for eligible employees.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales objectives by deepening clients’ connections to Gucci and delivering best-in-class service, a distinctive experience, and strong client relationships.
  • Proactively engage clients and build strong relationships, making them feel valued and at ease through excellent in-store and remote service.
  • Deliver personalized, client-centric experiences that build lasting relationships, encourage repeat business, and strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Discover clients’ needs and aspirations, build rapport and meaningful connections, and exceed their expectations.
  • Recruit new clients and develop the existing client base.
  • Use in-store technology to make each client experience smooth, pleasant, and relevant.
  • Collect client information throughout the client journey to understand preferences and tailor service.
  • Enrich the client experience with useful insights on local lifestyle trends, including theatre, arts, and travel.
  • Drive individual and collective sales results and maximize selling opportunities in-store and remotely.
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences through hospitality, elevated selling skills, luxury gestures, and product rituals.
  • Use effective selling techniques in a natural, warm, elevated manner while maintaining a client-centric approach.
  • Select products suited to client needs and benefits, using cross-selling and upselling techniques.
  • Promote virtual appointments and distance sales, recruiting clients to create selling opportunities.
  • Maintain a “One-Gucci-Client” perspective across purchase locations and on exchanges, returns, repairs, and other transactions.
  • Guide and inspire clients to make informed decisions and purchase the right product.
  • Communicate openly and constructively with team members, collaborating and proposing effective solutions.
  • Use knowledge of Gucci and its products, storytelling, product expertise, and honest styling advice to support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Attend training to develop product knowledge and selling techniques.
  • Stay current on fashion trends, competitors, products, campaigns, services, and client segmentation to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Combine styling knowledge with the ability to recommend products that serve the client.
  • Represent Gucci’s philosophy, values, and lifestyle with enthusiasm.
  • Participate in store operations, including stock maintenance and inventory.
  • Follow policies and procedures, with a focus on loss prevention and operational excellence.
  • Process POS transactions accurately and capture client information correctly.
  • Help maintain product displays in accordance with Gucci visual standards.
  • Follow company grooming requirements and Gucci standards and policies.
  • Maintain optimal product levels on the sales floor in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Manage general store administration and functionality.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of luxury fashion sales experience, with an excellent track record, preferably in a similar role or customer service setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and exceed individual and store results and build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • High ethical standards, professionalism, and integrity, with the ability to inspire trust and collaboration among colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Deep knowledge of fashion and luxury.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and client orientation.
  • High flexibility and ability to adapt to different clients and complex situations.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
