Gucci is hiring a Client Advisor in Costa Mesa, USA to deliver luxury retail service, grow client relationships and achieve sales targets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a Gucci brand ambassador by delivering best‑in‑class, elevated client service across in‑store and remote interactions.
  • Proactively engage, recruit and develop a lasting client base; deepen relationships to drive repeat business and brand loyalty.
  • Achieve individual and store sales objectives through consultative selling, effective cross‑selling and upselling techniques.
  • Deliver personalised styling and product storytelling, advising clients with expert product knowledge and honest styling recommendations.
  • Promote and conduct virtual appointments and distance sales to create remote selling opportunities.
  • Capture and maintain accurate client information using in‑store technology and POS systems to personalise future service.
  • Contribute to store operations including stock maintenance, inventories, POS transactions and basic administration.
  • Uphold Gucci visual standards and assist with product presentation on the sales floor.
  • Adhere to company policies on loss prevention, grooming standards and operational procedures.
  • Participate in product and selling trainings to remain current on collections, trends and competitor activity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of luxury fashion or high‑end retail sales experience with a demonstrable track record.
  • Proven ability to consistently drive and exceed individual and store sales results.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity and ethics with the ability to inspire trust among clients and colleagues.
  • Flexible availability to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Passion for fashion and luxury with strong commercial awareness and client‑centric attitude.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to adapt to complex client situations.

Experience

At least 2+ years of luxury fashion or upscale retail sales experience, with evidence of meeting sales targets and building long‑term client relationships.

This position is based in Costa Mesa, California, USA, within easy reach of Los Angeles.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16.90 to USD 18 per hour.
