Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the Gucci brand ambassador to achieve individual and store sales targets by deepening client relationships and delivering best‑in‑class, personalised service both in‑store and remotely.
- Proactively engage clients from first contact, build rapport, discover needs and aspirations, and recruit new clients to expand the customer base.
- Deliver tailored styling advice and product storytelling, select appropriate merchandise, and apply cross‑sell and upsell techniques to maximise revenue.
- Promote and conduct virtual appointments and distance selling to create remote selling opportunities and maintain a One‑Gucci client perspective across exchanges, returns and services.
- Capture and maintain accurate client information using in‑store systems to personalise follow‑up and service; leverage in‑store technology and POS to ensure smooth transactions.
- Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation to Gucci standards; participate in stock maintenance, inventories and daily store administration.
- Adhere to company policies with a focus on loss prevention, operational excellence and expected grooming standards; collaborate openly with colleagues and contribute constructive solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years experience in luxury fashion retail or comparable customer‑facing sales roles.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding individual and store sales targets and building long‑term client relationships.
- High level of professionalism, integrity and commercial awareness with a client‑centric attitude.
- Flexible availability to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Skills
Experience
At least two years of hands‑on luxury fashion sales experience with demonstrable results in client acquisition, retention and revenue growth.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education or formal training in fashion, retail or visual merchandising is advantageous.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Canoga Park, California, USA, with easy access to Los Angeles.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17.81 to USD 18 per hour.
