The Client Advisor represents Gucci on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, building client relationships and delivering personalized luxury service while driving in-store and remote sales. The role also supports store operations, visual standards, stock, and accurate POS transactions; the hourly base salary range is $18–$20, with medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k), and potential incentive-program participation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage clients and build strong relationships, delivering best-in-class service in store and remotely.
  • Provide personalized, client-centric service that builds lasting relationships, repeat business, and brand loyalty.
  • Discover clients’ needs and aspirations, build rapport, and exceed expectations.
  • Recruit new clients and develop existing client relationships.
  • Use in-store technology to support a smooth and relevant client experience.
  • Collect client information throughout the journey to understand preferences and tailor service.
  • Enhance the client experience with useful insights on local lifestyle trends, including theater, arts, and travel.
  • Drive individual and collective sales results and maximize in-store and remote selling opportunities.
  • Deliver exceptional hospitality through selling skills, luxury gestures, and product rituals.
  • Use effective, natural, warm, and elevated selling techniques to drive sales with a client-centric approach.
  • Recommend products suited to clients’ needs and benefits, using cross-selling and upselling techniques.
  • Promote virtual appointments and distance sales, recruiting clients to create selling opportunities.
  • Maintain a “One-Gucci-Client” perspective across purchase locations and support exchanges, returns, repairs, and other transactions.
  • Guide and inspire clients to make informed decisions and choose the right products.
  • Communicate openly and constructively with team members, collaborate, and propose effective solutions.
  • Use knowledge of Gucci and its products, storytelling, product expertise, and honest styling advice to support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Attend training to develop product knowledge and selling techniques.
  • Stay current on fashion trends, competitors, products, campaigns, services, and client segments to identify suitable solutions.
  • Combine styling knowledge with product recommendations that serve client needs.
  • Represent Gucci’s philosophy, values, and lifestyle with enthusiasm.
  • Participate in store operations, including stock maintenance and inventories.
  • Follow policies and procedures, with attention to loss prevention and operational excellence.
  • Process POS transactions accurately and capture client information correctly.
  • Maintain product displays in accordance with Gucci visual standards.
  • Follow Gucci grooming standards and policies.
  • Maintain optimal product levels on the sales floor in line with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Manage general store administration and functionality.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of luxury fashion sales experience, with an excellent track record, preferably in a similar role or customer service setting.
  • Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store results and build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • High ethical standards, professionalism, integrity, and the ability to inspire trust and collaboration among colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Deep knowledge of fashion and luxury.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and client orientation.
  • High flexibility and ability to adapt to different clients and complex situations.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18 to USD 20 per hour.
