Role & Responsibilities
- Build strong client relationships and deliver attentive, personalized service in store and remotely, creating a welcoming experience from first contact.
- Develop lasting client relationships that encourage repeat business and strengthen brand loyalty; identify client needs and aspirations, exceed expectations, and recruit new clients while developing existing relationships.
- Use in-store technology to create a smooth, relevant client experience, collect information about client preferences to personalize service, and share useful insights on local lifestyle trends such as theatre, arts, and travel.
- Drive individual and collective sales results and maximize in-store and remote selling opportunities.
- Deliver elevated service through hospitality, selling skills, luxury gestures, and product rituals; use natural, effective selling techniques and cross-selling and upselling to match products to client needs.
- Promote virtual appointments and distance sales, maintaining a consistent client experience across purchase locations for exchanges, returns, repairs, and other transactions.
- Guide clients toward suitable purchase decisions and collaborate with team members through constructive communication and effective solutions.
- Use Gucci and product knowledge, storytelling, expert product guidance, and honest styling advice to support informed purchasing decisions; attend training on products and selling techniques.
- Stay current on fashion trends, competitors, products, campaigns, services, and client segmentation; combine styling knowledge with product recommendations and embody Gucci’s philosophy, values, and lifestyle.
- Participate in store operations, including stock maintenance and inventories; follow policies and procedures, with a focus on loss prevention and operational excellence.
- Process POS transactions accurately and capture client information; uphold Gucci visual standards, maintain optimal sales-floor stock levels, follow grooming standards, and manage general store administration and functionality.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of luxury fashion sales experience, with an excellent track record, preferably in a similar role or customer service setting.
- Demonstrated ability to drive and exceed individual and store results and build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues.
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity, with the ability to inspire trust and collaboration among colleagues.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Deep knowledge of and passion for fashion and luxury.
- Excellent commercial awareness and client orientation.
- High flexibility and ability to adapt to different clients and complex situations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
