Gucci in Florence seeks a Chef de Rang for Gucci Osteria — luxury dining role requiring 2+ years' experience and fluency in English and Italian.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned dining section to deliver a seamless, personalised service that exceeds Gucci Osteria guests’ expectations.
- Prepare and maintain mise en place to the restaurant’s service standards and ensure flawless table presentation throughout the shift.
- Take orders and guide guests through the dining experience, proactively recommending food and wine pairings to enhance the meal.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen, sommelier and front‑of‑house colleagues to ensure timely delivery and consistency of guest experience.
- Maintain professional grooming and deportment, handle guest requests discreetly and resolve service issues with composure.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ experience in a chef de rang, waiter/captain or comparable fine‑dining role.
- Previous experience within luxury hospitality or Michelin‑level restaurants preferred.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
- Polished personal presentation and strict adherence to grooming standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and teamwork skills; client‑oriented and solutions‑focused approach.
- Discreet, genuine manner with the ability to adapt tone and service to individual guests.
- Flexible availability to cover varied working hours typical of high‑end restaurants.
