Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the team to consistently meet guest expectations.
  • Ensure appropriate attention to guests and provide active support when needed.
  • Assist the Head Bartender in planning drink and food service in the bar.
  • Verify customer identification to ensure legal age for alcohol purchase.
  • Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately, ensuring correct charges and returning change to patrons, and balance the cash register.
  • Maintain a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Italian bar industry.
  • International experience and achievements are advantageous.
  • Adherence to company standards for serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to transport dishes from the kitchen to tables.
  • Proactive, reliable, and self-motivated attitude.
  • Open-mindedness and receptiveness to constructive criticism.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement in operational aspects and making suggestions.
  • Awareness of HACCP expectations and ensuring high standards of hygiene and work methods.
  • Capability to process payments from customers.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wine and spirits.

Experience
