Role & Responsibilities
- Support the team to consistently meet guest expectations.
- Ensure appropriate attention to guests and provide active support when needed.
- Assist the Head Bartender in planning drink and food service in the bar.
- Verify customer identification to ensure legal age for alcohol purchase.
- Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately, ensuring correct charges and change.
- Maintain a clean work and dining area, including trash removal, table cleaning, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
- Take orders and ensure guests feel well cared for during their time at the bar or event.
- Assist in other operational functions, including restaurant opening and closing duties, cleaning and clearing tables, and side duties such as polishing silverware and filling condiments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality sector.
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality regulations.
