Gucci seeks an Associate Store Director in New York to partner with the Store Director on store strategy, sales performance, client experience, people leadership, and daily operations. The role leads Client Advisors and Team Managers, oversees clienteling, CRM, inventory, compliance, and service standards, and requires 4–6 years of relevant sales management experience. The estimated base salary range is $145,000–$165,000 annually.
Role & Responsibilities

- Partners with the Store Director, using a 360-degree view of the business to lead and support activities that deliver company strategy, store objectives, KPIs, and functional goals.
- Leads Client Advisors and Team Managers in creating and delivering an exceptional luxury service culture; acts as Store Director when required and represents Gucci as a brand ambassador.
- Leads teams in delivering superior client-centric service and after-sales experiences to achieve consistently high client satisfaction.
- Supports store teams in implementing actions to improve the client experience and loyalty in line with the highest standards of hospitality, elevation, and exclusivity.
- Leads the development and execution of local events and business opportunities through networking and top-client relationships.
- Drives in-store collaboration on clienteling activities and training.

- Manages stock to maximize full-price selling in full-price stores, maintain sell-through, and align with new product launches.
- Ensures training priorities are rolled out so teams understand brand pillars and seasonal strategy.
- Drives KPI performance with Client Advisors and Team Managers, identifying and implementing strategies when targets are not met.
- Allocates staff resources and schedules to drive sales and maintain high client-service standards.
- Monitors competitors’ products, sales trends, people strategies, clienteling activities, and launches.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures covering operations, people, and security.

- Completes quarterly Loss Prevention self-audits, monthly cycle counts, incident reporting, and monthly inventory reconciliations to keep annual inventory shrinkage below the company target.
- Oversees incoming and outbound merchandise requests and shipments.
- Prepares accurate monthly schedules and submits payroll records for all employees on time.
- Supports and monitors in-store after-sales services.
- Supports adherence to Visual Merchandising standards set by the Global VM team.
- Maintains company assets in accordance with back-of-house and front-of-house guidelines.
- Ensures consistent compliance with health, safety, and security requirements.
- Represents Gucci in accordance with wardrobe and grooming standards and ensures the team follows those standards.
Qualifications
- At least 4–6 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or a service-related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity, with the ability to inspire trust and influence a team.
- Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and respond quickly to business needs.
- Proven ability to drive positive client experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results.
