Gucci Associate Store Director in Costa Mesa, CA — lead luxury retail operations and client experiences with a competitive salary of $117K–$130K USD.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Client Advisors and Team Managers to deliver exceptional luxury service and client experiences aligned with Gucci's brand standards
- Partner with the Store Director to drive sales performance, achieve KPIs, and maximize monthly profitability through effective resource allocation and strategic execution
- Oversee client experience initiatives, including CRM implementation, clienteling activities, and relationship development to drive loyalty and acquisition
- Manage and coordinate floor operations by overseeing client flow, ensuring all clients receive outstanding service, and resolving issues to retain and enrich client relationships
- Lead the execution of company-driven local events and product launches, ensuring strong client attendance and achievement of sales targets
- Develop and implement team development strategies through ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and career conversations during annual reviews
- Represent Gucci as brand ambassador and act as Store Director when needed, maintaining highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and servant leadership
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding operations, people management, security, and inventory control, including Loss Prevention audits and cycle counts
- Oversee visual merchandising standards, stock management, and maintenance of company assets in alignment with global guidelines
- Maintain awareness of competitive landscape, market trends, and local business opportunities to inform strategic decisions and identify growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 4–6 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industry
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and demonstrated ability to inspire trust and influence teams
- Proven track record of driving positive client experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable sales results
- Strong analytical abilities with capacity to identify business trends from selling reports and react quickly to business needs
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Industry awareness, commercial knowledge, and strong business acumen
- Passion for the fashion industry and luxury retail
- Flexibility to work retail schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Experience
Minimum of 4–6 years of progressively responsible sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or premium service environments. Demonstrated success in leading sales teams, achieving performance targets, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth in a luxury or upscale retail setting.
Education
Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
