Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Merchandising Manager – Men’s Leathergoods to define and deliver seasonal business strategies that achieve financial targets within Open to Buy (OTB) constraints for Retail and Digital channels in North America.
- Translate Worldwide merchandising directives, master orders and key messages into regional assortments and buy plans during buying campaigns.
- Develop assortment architecture aligned with brand growth strategies and financial plans, optimising product mix by store and channel.
- Conduct in‑season analysis to identify reorder opportunities, consolidations and allocation priorities to maximise sell‑through and margin.
- Partner closely with Inventory Planning to allocate newness strategically across locations and channels for an omnichannel approach.
- Coordinate cross‑category initiatives and special projects (capsules, holidays, buy‑now‑wear‑now, etc.) during the buying cycle.
- Provide timely, qualitative and quantitative competitive feedback and market intelligence to Worldwide teams and senior Merchandising stakeholders.
- Monitor internal and external pricing and competitor activity to identify opportunities for product positioning and assortment optimisation.
- Partner with regional retail merchandising and store teams to deliver product trainings, support inventory issues and gather frontline commercial feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Finance or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3–4 years of buying or merchandising experience within a fashion or luxury environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice (approx. 15–20% annually).
- Willingness to work a demanding schedule that may include occasional evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness, business acumen and a refined eye for luxury product.

Minimum 3–4 years of progressive buying or merchandising experience in a fashion or luxury goods environment, with demonstrable commercial impact and familiarity with omnichannel retail dynamics.
Education
