Gucci is hiring an Accessories Research Specialist in Milan, Italy to lead research, sourcing, and archive management for RTW collections.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and scouting of trims and accessories for menswear and womenswear collections
  • Support the development and follow-up of accessories from research through implementation
  • Collaborate with Design, Raw Materials, and Purchasing teams to ensure alignment on collection requirements and timelines
  • Manage the organization, cataloguing, and archiving of trims and accessory materials, ensuring traceability and accessibility
  • Monitor and maintain accurate data within PLM and other relevant systems
  • Support the Trims team in managing growing collection volumes while maintaining high quality standards
  • Work proactively under the coordination of the Trim Team Manager to achieve team objectives
  • Balance operational execution with continuous improvement of research processes and workflows

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in accessories, fashion, or luxury industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of accessory materials, components, and manufacturing processes
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency with PLM systems, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant digital tools
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in material management and archive maintenance
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven approach
