Radio Classique seeks an editorial intern in Paris to create and manage digital content for France's premier classical music broadcaster.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create engaging musical content including articles bridging classical music with popular culture, original angles on classical music news, and opera libretto summaries
- Publish adapted web versions of interviews from the morning broadcast and anecdotes from the Franck Ferrand podcast
- Integrate and format articles submitted by radio contributors for the website and mobile application
- Select and edit visual assets using Photoshop or Canva
- Enhance articles with compelling headlines, hyperlinks, cross-references, related content suggestions, and embedded video content
- Publish web versions of dedicated French language chronicles
Qualifications
- Minimum Bac+3 (3-year post-secondary degree)
- Educational background in journalism, political science, humanities, or equivalent field
- Prior editorial experience such as internships, freelance writing, student media, or published blog work is advantageous
- Demonstrated cultural knowledge and interest in current affairs
