Historia / Groupe Les Echos-Le Parisien seeks a Social Media & Web Editorial Intern in Paris to manage socials and edit web content.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Create social media content: short-form videos, posts and new format concepts tailored to Historia’s audience.
  • Plan, animate and moderate the magazine’s social channels (Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin and X), including content calendar management.
  • Propose publication ideas and conduct regular benchmarking of new digital and social formats.
  • Edit and prepare articles for the web and newsletters: copy editing, selecting iconography and publishing while applying SEO best practices.
  • Support the communication team on partnerships and events, collaborating closely with the editorial team and other group departments.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or completing a Master’s degree in digital communication, journalism, history or a related field.
  • Strong cultural knowledge and a pronounced interest in history; formal studies in history are an advantage.
  • Excellent written French with impeccable spelling and sensitivity to storytelling.
  • Autonomy, responsiveness, methodical working style and strong organisational skills.
  • Creative mindset with familiarity with content-creation tools and short-form video formats.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with editorial teams and cross-functional departments.
