Les Echos seeks a Product Owner Apprentice (M/F) in Paris, France for 12-month paid apprenticeship managing mobile applications starting September 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure clear understanding of business needs and priorities across multiple news titles in collaboration with Product Managers
- Propose solutions aligned with design and development capabilities to address prioritised requirements
- Specify solutions in the form of User Stories, working collaboratively with developers, designers, and QA teams
- Verify solution quality and validate side effects with QA teams before production deployment
- Organise and prioritise User Stories within the backlog according to the product roadmap
- Ensure compliance of User Stories before submission to development sprints
- Follow up with stakeholders to enable project progress and delivery
- Document product functionality and enhancements comprehensively
- Supervise delivery of product evolutions and communicate releases to stakeholders
- Lead and actively participate in product demonstrations with developers and external technical partners
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or completing a Master's degree (M1/M2) or equivalent advanced programme in Product Management, Digital Management, Project Management, or Innovation
- Demonstrated knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Understanding of User Story writing and acceptance criteria definition
- Foundational knowledge of UX/UI principles
- Basic understanding of data and analytics concepts (KPIs, conversion funnels)
- Mobile technology literacy and familiarity with iOS and Android ecosystems
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Prior internship or apprenticeship experience in product or project management (advantageous)

Entry-level; no prior professional experience required beyond educational training. Candidates should demonstrate genuine interest in media, digital products, and mobile applications, alongside a desire to develop expertise through hands-on project work.
Education
Master's degree (M1 or M2) or equivalent advanced qualification (Bac+4 to Bac+5) in Product Management, Digital Management, Project Management, Innovation, Business/Engineering programme with product specialisation, or equivalent bootcamp/certification. Curriculum should encompass agile methodologies, UX/UI fundamentals, data analytics, and mobile technology literacy.
