Groupe Les Echos Le Parisien is recruiting a Management Control Intern for a full-time internship within a 13-person team organized by division and activity. The intern will support monthly closing, reporting and budget reviews, and monitor and analyze activity across the Partner, advertising sales and Arts divisions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to monthly closing activities and prepare reports.
- Assist with budget reviews.
- Monitor and analyze activity for the Partner division companies, including Les Echos Publishing and Les Echos Etudes: track revenue and manual provisions; update and analyze study lifespan calculations; update and analyze margin by publication for Publishing; track client margins for the Agency; and update web expenditure tracking for Publishing.
- Monitor and analyze advertising sales activities: track production costs for special operations, contribute to expense closing and manual provisions, and prepare digital and SRI reports.
- Monitor and analyze activity for the Arts division companies, including distribution activity for Connaissance des Arts and Historia: track subscriber portfolios, newsstand and direct sales, and prepare KPIs.
Qualifications
- Student at a business school or in a university program specializing in corporate finance, in the third year or later.
- Rigorous, dynamic, proactive, clear communicator, team-oriented, and personable.
- A first experience in management control or audit is an asset.
- Good command of Excel.
