6-month paid IP law internship at Groupe Les Echos–Le Parisien (LVMH), Paris. Legal support in contracts, compliance, and media law.
Role & Responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts in intellectual property, IT/digital, commercial law, and advertising sectors
- Monitor and manage disputes and pre-litigation matters in press law, trademarks, copyright, and commercial affairs
- Conduct legal research on data protection, competition law, and collective rights management
- Prepare legal opinions and advisory notes for internal stakeholders addressing personal data exploitation, AI regulation, and EU compliance frameworks
- Implement CNIL (French Data Protection Authority) recommendations across internal teams, including privacy-by-design protocols, rights exercises, data retention policies, and privacy policy reviews
- Provide support and advisory services via written consultations on cross-functional legal issues
Qualifications
- Master's degree (M2) in Law, specializing in Intellectual Property, Digital Law, New Technologies, or Data Protection, completed or in progress
- Demonstrated knowledge of French and EU data protection regulations and broader digital law frameworks
- Professional proficiency in English and French, both written and oral
- Proficiency with standard office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Prior internship or professional experience in a law firm or corporate legal department strongly preferred

Entry-level; no prior professional experience required. Prior significant internship in a law firm or corporate legal department is desirable.
Education
Enrolled in or holder of a Master's degree (M2) in Law, preferably specializing in Intellectual Property, Digital Law, New Technologies, or Data Protection.
