medici.tv is a digital concert platform offering live events and an extensive classical music video-on-demand catalogue. The Editorial Assistant intern supports the editorial team with synopsis writing and translation, publishing, communications, back-office data and creative projects; this is a full-time internship in Paris.
Role & Responsibilities
- Select titles and write compelling synopses for content such as concerts, operas and documentaries.
- Translate synopses for film pages, website and app text, and communications such as newsletters, marketing emails, advertisements and social media posts from English into French.
- Publish content on the streaming platform.
- Contribute to written communications, including emails and newsletters.
- Enter and maintain data in medici.tv’s back office.
- Contribute to creative brainstorming for new projects, such as platform and app features, and propose new content and editorial promotions.
- Monitor international music news and conduct regular industry benchmarking.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in classical music, opera, jazz and/or dance; experience playing an instrument, musicology studies or conservatory training are relevant.
- Ideally, a background in literature, languages or music.
- Excellent French writing skills.
- Teamwork, collaboration, autonomy, creativity and a proactive, idea-driven approach.
- Good understanding of English and Spanish to read and work with content in those languages.
