Role & Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop and retain educational institutions, individual customers and book trade clients across departments 54, 55, 57, 67, 68 and 88.
  • Organise and conduct sales visits and presentations of the catalogue (backlist and new releases); process orders and manage returns and billing disputes.
  • Plan and operate book fair participation: identify relevant events, install and staff the stand, and achieve on-site sales targets.
  • Implement subscription and sales operations; propose local commercial initiatives to grow revenue.
  • Provide weekly commercial reporting and market intelligence to the Head of Sales.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of proven field sales experience, ideally within publishing, cultural goods or educational sales.
  • Autonomous, organised and target-driven with a demonstrable track record of meeting sales objectives.
  • Valid personal vehicle and ability to travel regularly across the assigned departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with particular competence in Excel for reporting and order management.

Experience
