The Stock Manager oversees inventory and stock flow at Goyard’s Paris boutique, ensuring product availability, efficient operations and support for client service. The role includes coordinating inventory processes and developing the team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Organize and participate in delivery receipt, including qualitative and quantitative checks of goods received.
- Monitor forecasts to ensure product availability.
- Maintain the logical and efficient organization of storage areas.
- Coordinate reservation management with sales and cashier teams, and manage client shipments and tracking.
- Set the rolling inventory schedule and analyze and investigate discrepancies.
- Manage stock flow so the sales team can focus on client service.
- Ensure thorough knowledge and application of Goyard procedures, including among the sales team.
- Proactively implement processes that better support teams and strengthen stock management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of stock management procedures.
- Train and develop the team.
- Allocate team tasks, manage schedules and ensure smooth operations.
- Support sales and operations teams as business activity requires.
Qualifications
- Background in logistics, management or supply chain.
- At least 5 years of experience in stock and flow management, ideally in Retail, with significant team management experience.
- Proven team leadership and management experience.
- Excellent command of inventory management tools.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and ability to use advanced analytical tools.
- Good understanding of the Retail environment and its operational challenges.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate and coordinate.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
