Goyard is hiring an Inventory Supervisor in Paris to oversee counter stock operations, coordinate deliveries and inventory flows, and support sales teams. The role also includes developing the stock team, allocating duties and managing its schedule.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the counter’s stock operations.
- Organize and participate in deliveries, checking the quality and quantity of received goods.
- Monitor forecasts to ensure product availability.
- Maintain logical and efficient organization of storage areas.
- Coordinate with sales and cashier teams on reservations and the management and tracking of customer shipments.
- Set the cycle-count schedule and analyze and investigate discrepancies.
- Manage stock flows so the sales team can remain fully available to customers.
- Ensure that Goyard procedures are understood and followed, including by sales teams.
- Proactively implement new processes to support teams and ensure excellent management of the stock function.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of stock management procedures.
- Train and develop the team.
- Allocate duties within the team to ensure smooth operations and manage the schedule.
- Support sales and operations teams when business activity requires it.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in retail stock management.
- Significant team management experience.
- Confirmed experience in management and team leadership.
- Excellent command of stock management tools.
- Very good knowledge of Excel and the ability to use advanced analytical tools.
- Good knowledge of the retail environment and its operational challenges.
- Rigor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate and coordinate.
- Interpersonal ease and an enthusiasm for teamwork.
