Goyard is hiring a Finance Systems Project Manager to oversee the implementation and evolution of finance ERP modules and commercial application functions across retail and, eventually, its artisanal division. The role spans requirements, solution selection, delivery, releases, user support and change management, with occasional international travel; it is based on-site in Paris.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deploy tools that enable the Finance department to monitor and support Goyard’s international development and growth.
- Implement, maintain and enhance ERP finance modules covering general, customer, supplier and fixed-asset accounting; cost accounting, cost control and profitability; treasury and financial flows; and financial investments.
- Manage the financial functions of commercial applications, covering retail and, in due course, the artisanal division.
- Understand business needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Prepare requirements documents and detailed functional specifications.
- Support technical teams from development through deployment, including user acceptance testing with business teams.
- Manage production releases and provide intensive post-launch support.
- Participate in tenders and contribute to solution selection.
- Coordinate projects with internal teams and external service providers.
- Engage users across stores and offices through documentation, training and change management.
- Maintain existing systems by monitoring and resolving malfunctions and managing enhancements.
- Work with teams in France and internationally, with occasional travel to Goyard sites worldwide.
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience as a Finance Systems Project Manager.
- Experience implementing an accounting and finance ERP and mastery of application-system flows.
- Ability to anticipate and resolve technical issues while managing several projects concurrently.
- Knowledge of retail, ideally luxury retail, and/or an IT services company serving retail clients.
- Ease working in a demanding international environment.
- English is essential.
