Golden Goose seeks a Tailor in Milan to deliver personalized repair and customization services within a luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive tailoring and repair services including hand embroidery, typographic embroidery, machine embroidery, patch application, crystal or stud application, button replacement, and basic alterations
- Offer personalized service recommendations and expert advice on bespoke customization options that reflect customer individuality and style preferences
- Develop and maintain a curated showcase catalog featuring embroidery designs and examples of customized products to inspire customer exploration
- Ensure customers are registered on the Golden Goose App for effective customer segmentation, profiling, and fidelization
- Collaborate across store teams on sales, pre- and post-sale activities, inventory management, and store operations
- Authentically represent the brand's vision, heritage, and values through personalized customer engagement and consistent brand identity
- Maintain the tailoring area to pristine visual merchandising standards and operational cleanliness
- Assist with store procedures including opening/closing, stock activities, and compliance with GDPR and health & safety regulations
- Utilize digital tools and systems effectively (Golden App, Sales Force, Xstore, Stealth) to enhance customer engagement and business processes
Qualifications
- Fluency in Italian and English; additional language knowledge is valued
- Previous experience as a Tailor, preferably in the retail or customer service sector
- Demonstrated problem-solving and time management capabilities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with proven team-building abilities
- Technical proficiency in tailoring, alteration, embroidery, and garment repair techniques
