Golden Goose seeks a skilled Tailor in Istanbul for bespoke repair and customization services. Full-time role blending artisanal tailoring with retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Offer personalized tailoring and repair services, including hand embroidery, typographic embroidery, machine embroidery, patch application, crystal and stud application, basic alterations, button replacement, and brooch pinning
- Deliver comprehensive clothing repair and alteration services that extend product lifespan and enhance customer memories
- Develop and maintain a showcase catalog of unique embroidery designs and customized product examples to inspire customer exploration
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on bespoke services, empowering customers to express individuality through personalized fashion
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams on pre- and post-sale activities, stock management, and customer loyalty initiatives
- Ensure proper customer registration on the Golden App for effective segmentation and profiling
- Authentically convey the brand's vision, heritage, and values to clients, infusing Golden Goose identity into customized pieces
- Maintain the tailoring workspace to pristine visual merchandising standards
- Support store operations including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and compliance with GDPR and health & safety regulations
- Utilize digital tools and IT platforms (Golden App, Salesforce, Xstore, Stealth) to enhance business processes and customer engagement
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Turkish
- Previous experience as a Tailor, preferably in retail or customer service sectors
- Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated team-building and collaborative capabilities
