Golden Goose Store Manager position in Istanbul, Turkey. Lead retail operations, drive sales, manage team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage store sales performance through KPI analysis, establishing and implementing action plans in cooperation with the Area Manager
- Guide the team to achieve commercial targets while maintaining customer satisfaction and brand standards
- Implement best-selling ceremonies including up-selling and cross-selling techniques, introducing co-creation services as key elements of client experience
- Build and enhance customer relationships through consistent follow-up, feedback collection, and personalized experience development
- Serve as Brand Ambassador to build local community relationships, expand customer networks, and develop the Golden App database for customer segmentation
- Drive omnichannel sales utilizing all available tools and technology in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor industry and market trends, suggesting opportunities and initiatives to Area Management to improve sales
- Communicate brand vision, heritage, values, and product insights to colleagues and clients
- Ensure appropriate store merchandising assortment and provide feedback to Area Management and Buying Team based on market and client needs
- Maintain optimal store presentation, visual displays, and product placement aligned with brand image and standards
- Attract, manage, develop, and empower team members through empathy, trust-building, and effective training and development
- Conduct daily and weekly in-store briefings to motivate the team, set objectives, and demonstrate achievement pathways
- Support new staff throughout the onboarding experience
- Enforce staff grooming and uniform standards in accordance with brand guidelines
- Oversee staffing for open positions in collaboration with Area Manager and HR to meet company standards
- Manage employee performance development processes, provide regular feedback, and suggest corrective measures while maintaining a positive work environment
- Supervise and coordinate all store activities to ensure smooth operational and stock management execution and achievement of predetermined objectives
- Ensure compliance with corporate rules, regulations, governance, GDPR, and Health & Safety protocols
- Adopt and implement IT and digital commercial tools (Golden App, Salesforce, Xstore, Stealth), ensuring staff training and preparedness
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Turkish
- Previous retail sector experience in a similar managerial role
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Proven problem-solving ability with sound decision-making capabilities
- Demonstrated team player mentality with collaborative approach
- Effective time management and task prioritization skills
