Golden Goose seeks a passionate Sales Assistant to introduce clients to the brand's world, articulating its heritage and values while crafting personalized styling solutions that reflect individual personalities. The role demands excellence in customer engagement through comprehensive product knowledge, effective up-selling and cross-selling techniques, and the cultivation of lasting client relationships through omnichannel practices and digital engagement tools. The successful candidate will contribute to store presentation standards, operational excellence, and consistent achievement of business objectives whilst ensuring compliance with GDPR and health and safety regulations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Engage clients through comprehensive product education and personalized styling recommendations to express their individuality and aspirations
- Execute proactive sales strategies including up-selling and cross-selling to maximize transaction value and customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain enduring customer relationships through omnichannel engagement, leveraging digital tools such as the Golden App, SalesForce, and Xstore to deliver personalized communications and offers
- Maintain store visual merchandising, product displays, and operational standards in alignment with brand image and guidelines
- Execute opening and closing procedures, manage inventory processes, and ensure adherence to GDPR and health and safety compliance requirements
- Utilize digital platforms and enterprise systems effectively to optimize business processes and enhance customer engagement
Qualifications
- Fluency in English; additional language proficiency considered an asset
- Minimum 1–3 years of demonstrated experience in luxury retail environments
- Self-motivated with strong positive attitude and professional selling acumen
- Excellent customer focus with commanding presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify and interpret emerging industry trends and local market dynamics
- Strong adaptability in response to evolving business and customer needs
- Proven collaborative team player mentality
