Golden Goose Floor Manager position in London. Lead retail sales, customer experience, and team performance. Full-time role reporting to Store Manager.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to achieve sales objectives by implementing sales strategies and monitoring key sales KPIs
- Support the management team in guiding staff to achieve commercial targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to brand qualitative standards
- Actively participate in the sales process and customer interaction by providing detailed product information, suggesting complementary items, and implementing up-selling and cross-selling strategies
- Enhance customer satisfaction and build strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up, active listening to feedback, and creation of personalized customer experiences
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by driving database development and registering customers on the Golden App for effective segmentation and profiling
- Act as a brand ambassador, conveying Golden Goose's vision, heritage, and values to colleagues and clients whilst sharing insights about iconic products and collections
- Lead omnichannel sales efforts in a fast-paced environment by utilizing all available digital tools and technology
- Proactively manage clienteling activities in coordination with the CRM department
- Contribute to overall store presentation by maintaining visual displays and store standards in alignment with brand image and standards
- Support and train new staff throughout the onboarding experience and ensure continuous professional development across all Golden Goose collections and categories
- Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, security measures, cash handling, returns, and compliance with GDPR and health & safety standards
- Adopt and implement IT and digital commercial tools including Golden App, Salesforce, Xstore, and Stealth, ensuring staff proficiency
Qualifications
- Fluency in English
- Previous retail experience in a similar leadership or floor management role
- Strong communication and active listening skills with ability to engage thoughtfully
- Proven ability to identify issues, evaluate solutions, and make informed decisions
- Demonstrated team player mentality with commitment to collaboration and collective goal achievement
- Excellent time management and task prioritization capabilities
- Knowledge of omnichannel retail operations and CRM systems preferred
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in retail sales, ideally in a floor management or similar supervisory role within the fashion or luxury goods sector. Demonstrated success in driving sales performance, managing teams, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; further formal qualifications in retail management, business administration, or hospitality are advantageous but not essential.
