Golden Goose Beijing seeks a talented Cobbler for shoe repair and bespoke customization services. Full-time luxury retail role combining artisanal craftsmanship with client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide a warm welcome to clients, fostering a sense of belonging within the Global Golden Community and delivering consultative, empathetic service
- Execute a comprehensive range of shoe repair services including stitching, cleaning, disinfection, stain and water repellent treatments, and expert restoration to extend product longevity
- Manage bespoke remake and customization services, enabling clients to inject their personal narrative into each pair whilst maintaining artisanal excellence
- Collaborate with the broader retail team on sales, pre- and post-sale activities, stock management, and customer loyalty initiatives
- Ensure client registration on the Golden App platform to support effective customer segmentation and personalized engagement
- Authentically convey the brand's heritage and values, infusing Golden Goose identity into all co-created items with respect and consistency
- Maintain the cobbler workspace in pristine condition, adhering to visual merchandising standards and brand aesthetic
- Assist with store operational procedures including opening and closing protocols, inventory management, and compliance with GDPR and health and safety regulations
- Utilize digital tools and systems effectively—including Golden App, Salesforce, Xstore, and Stealth—to enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in footwear repair, restoration, and bespoke customization techniques
- Strong command of English language with ability to articulate brand values and product narratives to international clientele
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or luxury goods environments is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to engage clients with active listening and thoughtful communication
- Capacity to identify client needs, evaluate solutions, and deliver informed recommendations
