Golden Goose seeks an Assistant Store Manager for its Abu Dhabi The Grove location, supporting sales strategy and team leadership in luxury retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement sales strategies, monitor KPIs, and drive omnichannel sales in a fast-paced environment
- Support the Store Manager in guiding the team towards commercial targets whilst maintaining customer satisfaction and qualitative standards
- Actively participate in sales transactions, providing detailed product information and implementing upselling and cross-selling strategies
- Build and enhance customer relationships by listening to feedback, creating personalized experiences, and ensuring client registration on the Golden App for effective CRM segmentation
- Proactively manage clienteling activities in coordination with the CRM department
- Act as a brand ambassador, conveying the brand's vision, heritage, and values to colleagues and clients
- Contribute to store presentation and visual merchandising, ensuring displays align with brand image and standards
- Support and inspire the team by reinforcing training delivery on brand knowledge, products, operations, and soft skills
- Ensure staff professionalism, preparedness, and appropriate grooming standards
- Oversee staffing for open positions, ensuring recruits meet company standards in skills, experience, and potential
- Supervise and coordinate all store activities, ensuring smooth execution of operational tasks and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure compliance with corporate rules, regulations, GDPR, and Health & Safety requirements
- Manage stock and backroom operations, including goods receiving, transferring, stock takes, and inventory reporting
- Train and ensure staff competency with IT and digital commercial tools including Golden App, Salesforce, Xstore, and Stealth
Qualifications
- Fluency in English (additional languages considered a plus)
- Previous experience in retail sector in a similar management or senior supervisory role
- Strong communication skills with active listening ability
- Problem-solving capability with ability to evaluate solutions and make informed decisions
- Demonstrated team collaboration and ability to work towards common goals
- Effective time management and task prioritization skills
- Brand awareness and understanding of luxury retail standards

Previous experience preferably in the retail sector in a similar assistant manager or senior supervisory role, with demonstrated success in sales leadership, team management, and customer relationship building.
