Golden Goose seeks an Accounts Payable Accountant in Dubai. Process invoices, manage payments, and support financial operations reporting to the Regional Head of Finance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and code vendor invoices, retail expenses, and supplier bills into the corporate ERP system with precision
- Execute timely weekly and monthly payment runs via bank platforms while ensuring proper internal approvals and authorization compliance
- Monitor customer and wholesale account balances, allocate incoming payments, and follow up on aging receivables
- Cultivate positive relationships with local and international suppliers through regular statement reconciliations and efficient resolution of discrepancies
- Support the senior finance team during month-end closing procedures, contributing to accruals preparation and financial reporting
- Maintain organized physical and digital financial archives to ensure readiness for internal controls and audit requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
- 3–5 years of operational experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting, preferably within a dynamic retail or multinational environment in the UAE
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping, double-entry principles, and accounts payable processing workflows
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with modern accounting software or ERPs
- Fluency in English
