Glenmorangie seeks Product Quality Executive - Core in Livingston, Scotland. Drive quality standards, supplier compliance, and continuous improvement in whisky production.
Role & Responsibilities
- Produce AQLs and Work Instructions for core dry and finished goods, ensuring alignment with production standards
- Lead inspections of core dry goods and deliver detailed, timely deviation reports to key stakeholders
- Support New Product Development (NPD) initiatives and oversee implementation of new products
- Advise and troubleshoot with external suppliers at first production to ensure adherence to standards and achieve right-first-time outcomes
- Collaborate with the Product Finishing team on repacking processes and provide specialized troubleshooting expertise
- Conduct internal audits of quality checks and standards within production operations
- Actively participate in and promote continuous improvement (CI) and the TRACC improvement journey
- Engage in and lead the Operational Problem Definition (OPD) process alongside the Product Quality Manager
- Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventative actions (RCPA) with production teams
- Formulate and maintain SOPs for operational activities
- Manage quality-held stock in SAP and ensure accurate data capture for quality actions
- Promote best practices in quality and food safety to maintain product safety and regulatory compliance

Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in production quality, quality assurance, or related manufacturing environment, with proven track record in inspection protocols, supplier management, and quality standards implementation.
Education
Technical qualification or equivalent experience in quality assurance, food safety, or manufacturing standards; formal training in quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or food safety certifications preferred.
