Role & Responsibilities
- Advocate passionately for the Ardbeg brand as an ambassador to guests and team members
- Oversee guest check-in processes, including welcome, accommodation orientation, and requirement confirmation
- Manage guest check-out procedures encompassing billing, feedback collection, and relationship closure
- Actively support and deputise for other operational teams, stepping in to maintain service standards
- Educate guests on the House and local area offerings; arrange bookings and experiences accordingly
- Supervise meal service periods directly on the floor to ensure consistent service quality delivery
- Conduct whisky tastings to the highest standard, maximising upsell and brand engagement opportunities
- Take operational responsibility for food and beverage delivery during special events with active floor presence
- Assist the General Manager in training and coaching team members to elevate performance
- Conduct daily business reviews with the General Manager and allocate shift-specific tasks to team members
- Supervise team performance, conduct field observations, and ensure adherence to standards
- Maintain presentation standards for front-of-house staff and public spaces throughout the venue
- Update handover documentation with guest observations and operational feedback
- Oversee regular stock counts of consumables and manage inventory controls
- Operate and optimise the EPOS system for operational efficiency and revenue tracking
- Ensure comprehensive understanding and adherence to all Health and Safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional hospitality or luxury venue operations experience
- Demonstrated expertise in team management and guest relations within a high-end environment
- Proven ability to manage high-net-worth individuals and VIP clients
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency; Property Management System experience advantageous
- Situational management skills with capacity to multitask between diverse guest demographics
- Professional presentation and genuine passion for luxury hospitality delivery

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in luxury hospitality operations, preferably in a boutique hotel, premium venue, or destination experience setting with demonstrated team management and guest-facing service excellence.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; further hospitality qualifications or management certifications beneficial but not essential.
